Agriculture in Punjab.

A village life encompasses various aspects that are interlinked with each other. There is an inherent simplicity, purity and transparency in the village atmosphere. Punjab is a land of diverse culture. A day was spent in the small village of Central Punjab to explore its agricultural products and major crops in the current season. This is Summer and various fruits and vegetables are available here which are exported to various regions of the country.

1- Corn field, used as food for both humans and animals.

2- Lady-finger a every economic vegetable Punjab. Farmers earn healthy income through this vegetable.

3- Guavas: A seasonal fruit and a major agricultural product in Punjab. It is exported to various regions with in Pakistan and across the borders as well.

4- Wheat: A major agricultural product of Pakistan as it is exported to earn huge profit.

5- Banana: A rare agricultural product in Punjab. A few plants are grown by farmers along with their main crops.


6-Orange: Punjab is famous for its juicy oranges. Many orchards are present in Central Punjab which constitute a major export product of Pakistan.

7- Capsicum: An abundantly grown vegetable in all regions of Punjab.

8- Onions: Almost all regions of Punjab are favourable for growing onions.


9: Tomatoes: An abundantly grown vegetable in Punjab.
